The author explains it

“Crimson Nose Club is an intermedia experiment stepping onto the stage in 2026 with a crooked smile and a bruised heart. It rewires the seductive grammar of classic boybands from the 90s and early 2000s, but places these figures—now older, tired, and self-aware—face to face with the brutality of the contemporary world. They don’t lose their charm or talent – they weaponize them.

The clown is not just a costume here – which helps us dive into the characters as both humans and pantomimes of their own. And it’s also a strategy – a metaphor for disconnected times where everyone wears masks daily, yet pretends they don’t. Laughter becomes camouflage. Applause becomes currency. Comedy turns into a paradoxical superpower: the ability to circulate freely while smuggling critique, discomfort, and truth.

Each member carries a distinct, complementary force—different voices, temperaments, and skills converging into a single body that blends pop-jazz, performance, comedy, and social commentary. Together, they operate like a band and like a system—sometimes elegant, sometimes grotesque.

This is, undeniably, an absurd and risky project. The kind no traditional industry pipeline would greenlight, polish and take place. That’s precisely where AI enters—not as a shortcut, but as an accomplice. A tool to imagine, impersonate, and stress-test Charlie, Phil, Cody, and Pierce as they collide with masculinity, spectacle, and expectation.

Crimson Nose Club is not here to offer answers. It invites you to witness the experiment—and to laugh, uneasily, while it unfolds.”

Why this record is different

Crimson Nose Club (CNC) is a transmedia project that blends music, storytelling, and visual aesthetics around a fictional clown boyband, where each member brings a distinct personality and artistic voice. Set in a universe that shifts between playful absurdity and deeper reflections on identity, masculinity, and social performance, the project also plays with a subtle paradox: characters searching for authenticity are brought to life through AI tools, blurring the line between human creation and technology. At its core, the music carries original lyrics and serves as the emotional backbone, moving between lighthearted and more introspective moments. While AI supports the instrumental flow, the creative direction and authorship remain in the hands of the artist, making the process itself part of the project’s exploration of expression, masks, and what it means to create in a digital world.
